Meet Calvin Prodger, our 2024-25 Chapter President!
How do you prioritize and manage your responsibilities as President?
"Microsoft Outlook is my best friend. Thankfully, we have a strong team that fills in the blanks as needed. Really, they do the work—I just help and manage the team as a whole. I couldn’t do it without them! I keep the students and the college in mind, and that fuels me to do better!"
What inspired you to take on the role of President in PTK?
"I’ve always had the drive to be part of something great, and when I heard that I had an opportunity, I had to take it! I originally wanted to run for the Leadership Officer position but realized that the President role would fit my skillset more fully. With motivation from my predecessor and advisor, I knew I wanted to lead this inspirational chapter."
What is your vision for our chapter this year?
"At the very least, we must live up to the reputation of our previous teams. I also want to extend our reach so that every eligible student knows about PTK and can join if they wish. The networking and team-building opportunities should be available to all who can utilize them, so my goal is to make sure everyone is aware and can join!"
